If you are here, then there’s a good chance you’ve also went through the process of reading Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson and Kenneth Blanchard.

This book essentially talks about change and the need to adapt to change.

Well, guess what? It doesn’t really work this way.

For years in my previous work, this is what I thought as well: there is change. Change is great. Now adapt. See what you can do to embrace change.

In my last year at RADVISION, I think I went into a transition – from thinking about change and how it affects me to wanting to make change happen.

This is probably why I enjoyed so much reading Deepak Malhotra’s book I Moved Your Cheese, that I just had to write about it here and add it to the list of books I recommend.

As with the initial book, this one is also short. And talks about mice. Three of them to be exact. But this time, when everyone else is running around after the cheese that got moved, these three take their own route and make their own change.

The book comes with discussion points and additional thoughts after the actual story for those who like it (I skipped it). All in all – a great read and a true concept. If you want change – make one. If you don’t, you’ll need to just continue chasing the change that happens anyway.

Grab this book – I highly recommend it.
