Last month, new data channel security issues were publicized about WebRTC. Then this month, Google's Project Zero illustrated how these issues can be exploited to remotely launch applications on an Android device.

Creepy.

In this webinar, Natalie Silvanovich, Philipp Hancke and I will try to understand the implications of this vulnerability as well as explain ways to mitigate it (besides upgrading to the latest libwebrtc codebase).

This will be a 45 minutes webinar, where you will learn how to better handle security in your WebRTC application and how to protect yourself against future threats.

In this webinar you will learn:

  • What is the data channel security vulnerability about?
  • How can it be exploited by hackers?
  • What can you do to protect yourself against this exploit?
  • How should you prepare for future threats moving forward?
