NAT64 and DNS64 together provide a mechanism to be able to connect to IPv4 destinations from an IPv6 network.  It is based on a NAT converting the addresses from IPv6 to IPv4 with the collaboration of a DNS server generating artificial IPv6 addresses.

It is supported by WebRTC endpoints now and it is important because of the need for iOS apps to be compatible with this mechanism.
