Homework for the weekend?
I’d like to share a few posts I’ve read this week if I may. They are all about mobile development (or at least “most” of them are). And they are all very well written.
- Mobile OS Paradigm. Steven Sinofsky (former President of the Windows Division at Microsoft) sums up quite nicely the difference between desktop to mobile
- Opinionated Rundown of JS Frameworks. Henrik Joreteg of &yet provides a good review of the pros and cons of different JS frameworks for single page application development, finally giving me the insights I needed (the developers I talk to never put this is such simple words, but agreed with what Henrik stated)
- Best practices for mobile developers. AT&T, who are also behind the ARO tool, provide some good tips for developers about the optimization work they need to do for their app for both bandwidth and battery life. A like to save and go through every once in awhile
Have a great weekend
