Homework for the weekend?

Reading

I’d like to share a few posts I’ve read this week if I may. They are all about mobile development (or at least “most” of them are). And they are all very well written.

  1. Mobile OS Paradigm. Steven Sinofsky (former President of the Windows Division at Microsoft) sums up quite nicely the difference between desktop to mobile
  2. Opinionated Rundown of JS Frameworks. Henrik Joreteg of &yet provides a good review of the pros and cons of different JS frameworks for single page application development, finally giving me the insights I needed (the developers I talk to never put this is such simple words, but agreed with what Henrik stated)
  3. Best practices for mobile developers. AT&T, who are also behind the ARO tool, provide some good tips for developers about the optimization work they need to do for their app for both bandwidth and battery life. A like to save and go through every once in awhile

Have a great weekend
